Live Concert at Mehrgenerationen Haus Ramstein

The Multigenerational House Ramstein hosts a live concert with the band “Manny K. & Friends” on Friday night from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. The musicians will entertain the audience with rock and pop songs, country music as well as Italian hits to sing along, dance and chill. Visitors of all ages are welcome! Admission is free – donations will be collected.

Spring Exhibition of Model Railroad Layout in Obermoschel

On the first and second weekend in March the model making club “Modellbaufreunde Obermoschel e.V.“ presents its spring model railroad layout (HO scale). At the club house in Obermoschel diehard model railroad fans can visit an exhibition area of 200 sq m and will get their money's worth. Food and beverages are offered too. Exhibition hours are on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is € 4 for adults and € 1 for children. Easter Market in Kottweiler-Schwanden

Spring is coming soon...

Experience the wonderful indoor Easter market at the community center Robert-Schuman-Heim in Kottweiler. It takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The market is organized by the local association called Vereinsring Kottweiler-Schwanden. With chickens, ducks and Easter bunnies made of paper and cardboard skillful hands turn the venue into a marketplace full of Easter impressions. Many hobby artists present their works of art in this colorful and spring-like decorated hall. Easter floristry, Easter decorations from Erzgebirge, handicrafts such as pottery, knitting and crochet work, glass jewelry, paintings, nesting boxes and much more can be purchased. A raffle in which each lot wins is offered, too. Proceeds of the Easter market will be donated to a non-profit organization in the community of Kottweiler-Schwanden. Coffee and cakes are offered by the Protestant Church. The exhibitors are looking forward to welcoming you!

Classical Concert at the Otterberg Abbey Church

Otterberg's ancient abbey church is a wonderful venue for concerts as it offers sonorous acoustics. This year's first concert focuses on two central themes of the Christian faith: death and resurrection. The string quintet performs Joseph Haydn's composition "The Last Words of the Redeemer on the Cross". The church choir presents Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria". Both, the string quintet as well as the choir are made up of singers from the districts of Kaiserslautern, Kusel and Donnersberg. Two sopranos also perform. Additionally, oboe, trumpet and the chest organ contribute to the baroque sound. The concert starts at 5 p.m. Tickets are € 15. Discounted tickets are € 12.
