Jadis in Concert at Congress Center Ramstein
Jadis from southern England are one of the leading neo-prog bands besides bands like Marillion, IQ and Pallas. At Congress Center Ramstein they will perform their only concert in Germany in 2025! The band's origins date back to the 1980s. The band, founded by singer and guitarist Gary Chandler, had their first success in the second half of the 1980s on tours with neo-prog legends like IQ and Marillion. The band made their final breakthrough in the progressive rock scene in 1992 with their album 'More Than Meets the Eye'. At that time, keyboardist Martin Orford and bassist John Jowitt were also playing with IQ, with whom the band has been friends for decades. Meanwhile, the legendary former IQ keyboardist Martin Orford is back in the permanent line-up of Jadis, which is completed by drummer Steve Christey (in the band since 1992) and bassist Andy Marlow (in the band since 2007). This means that Jadis, who have always been one of the best live bands in neo-prog, can now be heard almost in their original line-up again. In June 2024, Jadis released their new studio album 'More Questions Than Answers'. With their short European tour in spring 2025 through four countries, the band is celebrating the vinyl release of this album, which will be played in full length at the concert in Ramstein besides various classics. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are € 27,40 – only standing spaces available. For ticket reservations please call at +49 6371 592220 (opening hours Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. & 2 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.) or visit the website: www.congress-center-ramstein.de
