Friday, March 29 and Sunday, March 31 – Monday, April 1:

Easter Event at the Limestone Mine in Wolfstein

At Easter it is going to be very colorful inside the Wolfstein limestone mine! Experience a magical underground color and light attraction. German guided tours through the illuminated tunnels are offered. For the young visitors Easter Bunny hides colorful Easter eggs throughout the mine. This event takes place on Good Friday, on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Last entry is at 5 p.m. Sturdy shoes and warm clothing are recommended. Entrance fee is € 7 for adults, € 6 for youths and € 18.50 for families (2 adults and own children). On all three days registration is required! Groups and school classes can arrange individual appointments for an English guided tour. Friday, March 29 – Monday, April 1:

Easter Event of the Potzberg Wildpark

An amusing program for the young visitors is offered from Good Friday until Easter Monday at Potzberg Wildlife Park. The entertainment program includes an Easter egg hunt, an egg-and-spoon race, and a sack race. Furthermore, children can look forward to the feeding of the polar foxes. The regionally well-known “Potzberg Wildpark” hosts a fantastic bird of prey show daily at noon and 3 p.m. Children may run into the junior Easter Bunny. The wild park is open daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and is a great day trip for the whole family. Admission is € 10.50 for adults and € 7 for children (aged 4 to 16 year). Only cash payment – no credit cards accepted!

Sunday, March 31 – Monday, April 1:

Easter Event of the Kaiserslautern Zoo

The season opening of the Kaiserslautern Zoo traditionally takes place on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. On both days the family-friendly entertainment program starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Guided tours in German, that give the visitors an insight into the secrets of the zoo´s animal world, are offered free of charge. Watching the newborn and youngest animals will be one of the main attractions. Furthermore, kids can look forward to a Punch-and-Judy show, a scavenger hunt, a bouncy castle, a carousel, and face painting. The Easter Bunny distributes Easter eggs to visitors. Admission fee is € 10.50 for adults and € 7.50 for kids from 4 to 17 years. The zoo team greets the adults and their children with a little welcome gift and wishes wonderful Easter holidays.
