English Guided Tour in Kaiserslautern
The Tourist Information Kaiserslautern offers a guided tour through the Count Palatinate Hall with the subterranean tunnels. The tour will take you to the history and culture of the ancient times of “K-town”. It starts with a visit of the Count Palatinate Hall of the former Casimir Castle, where official receptions of the city are held today. Afterwards you descend to the subterranean tunnels. These passages are approx. 70 meters long. The tunnels are equipped with illuminated boards and sound effects illustrating the history of Kaiserslautern. The tour starts at 11.15 a.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting Point for the tour is the Tourist Information in Kaiserslautern. Participation fee is € 5 for adults, discounted tickets are € 4. Westrich Trade Fair in Ramstein
More than 50 trading companies, craftsmen as well as service providers present their goods and services in the city center and inside the Congress Center Ramstein. Regional products, home-associated products, information on health and wellness, a car show and a lot more are provided. An open-air stage on Ramstein´s market square outside the Congress Center offers musical entertainment. Food and beverages are offered, too. A street food event takes place on Prometheusplatz in front of the Ramstein town hall. Coffee and cakes are available inside the Congress Center Ramstein. Opening times of the fair are from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Free admission! Stores in Ramstein city center open for a Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday, April 14 - Sunday, April 16:
Street Food Event in Ramstein
In addition to the “Ramstein Trade Fair” (Westricher Leistungsschau) a street food event takes place on Prometheusplatz in front of the Ramstein town hall. For one weekend Ramstein turns into “The Capital of Street Food”. Various street food trucks offer culinary delights from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, 12 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday.
