“Time Travel” – English Tour in Otterberg

Get on the rustic, horse-drawn covered wagon, and travel back in time through the city of Otterberg. The tour combines tradition and the modern age. With virtual reality glasses you immerse yourself in days gone by: from the time of the monastery in 1254 to the Walloon town in 1615. Imagine the wind in your face, feel the jerking of the wagon, hear the clattering of the horses' hooves, and feel completely transported back to the past. After the carriage ride, a visit to the stately Otterberg Abbey Church awaits you as part of an English guided tour. Here you learn about the exciting history of the church, and you experience the incomparable atmosphere, live, no longer virtually but the real present-day occurrences. The “Time Travel” tour starts at 2:30 p.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Desired dates for groups of 9 to max. 12 people can be arranged upon request. Musical Magics Show at Congress Center Ramstein

The show presents the world of musicals in all its facets. The seven-member live band presents songs from “Phantom of the Opera”, “Dance of the Vampires”, “Wicked”, “The Lion King” and many others. Furthermore, its repertoire includes highlights such as “Moulin Rouge”, “Robin Hood”, “Tina – The Tina Turner Musical”, and “Romeo and Juliet”. Musical classics and recent productions combined in a breathtaking show – this is the secret of their success. Wonderful costumes and the unique sound of outstanding artists make the audience´s hearts beat faster. Spring Market in Herxheim at the German Wine Street

The Herxheim winegrowers present the new vintage year. Visitors are invited to go for a stroll through the village center and stop by at the participating wineries. Discover spring delights in historic wine cellars, welcoming courtyards and cozy tasting rooms. Several exhibitors offer decoration items, jewelry, purses, herbs, honey farm and distillery products, manufactured goods, arts and crafts and much more for sale. Food and beverages as well as coffee and cake are available too. The market starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
