A garden model railroad show day with 27 exhibitors from all over Germany will take place at Congress Center Ramstein on April 21. Form 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. visitors of all ages can admire the model locomotives as they drive through the lifelike miniature world. A special highlight on the digital 45mm garden railway with integrated modules is the locomotive “Kuseler Lottchen”, which ran on the local train connection from Landstuhl to Kusel from its opening in 1868 until 1928. The "Kuseler Lottchen" is a steam locomotive passenger train that the Ramstein garden railroad engineer Manfred Küster had rebuilt by two model building friends on a scale of 1:22,5. A large garden model railroad system is shown in the outside area of the Congress Center on the day of the event. Children can even control the trains themselves on a large, hands-on children's train. Admission is free, donations are welcome. Combine your visit of the railroad show with a stroll of the medieval spectacle!
