Friday, April 24 – Sunday, April 26:

Medieval Spectacle in Ramstein

The historical reenactment is held on Ramstein´s market square. The young and old are invited to experience history first-hand, as the clocks will be turned back to the Middle Ages. On all three days, the musicians of Trio Cum Laute entertain the visitors with medieval music. The highlight of the event´s stage entertainment is the medieval live band Trollfaust performing on Saturday evening from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Furthermore, the entertainment program features dance interludes by the dancing group Shabana Atesh as well as show fights, performances of a magician and a fire show. Medieval standholders offer a wide range of traditional goods for sale. People can purchase belts, bags, jewelry, medieval costumes, wooden toys, knight figures, faux fur, swords, daggers, battle axes and much more. Kids and adults can put their skills to the test with archery and crossbow shooting. A great choice of medieval specialties and beverages is available. Market hours are 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, 1 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission free!

Saturday, April 25 – Sunday, April 26:

German-American Friendship Walk in Ramstein

The Ramstein Roadrunners Club hosts its annual volksmarch in Miesenbach. Starting location and destination is the sports hall. Participants can choose between distances of 5/ 10/ 16 and 21 kilometers on both days. The marathon and the 32 km walk (20 miles) are only held on Saturday, April 25! Starting time of the marathon is from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. For starting time of all other distances please download flyer: https://ramstein-gateway.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Ramstein_Roadrunners2026.pdf Completion time is 5 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Walk, jog, or run at your own pace following the marked trails. Food and drinks are available at the event hall. Participants will get a start card which is needed for receiving the IVV-stamp. Pre-registration is not required for individual walkers but recommended for hiking groups of more than 25 people. Participation fee is € 3 - € 14. Bike `n´ Hike in the Palatinate Forest

Mountain biking and hiking are the main sports in the Palatinate Forest and are therefore the focus of this new event. The Palatinate Forest is one of Germany’s most diverse recreational areas. Around 7,000 kilometers of marked hiking trails – including numerous premium routes – as well as a network of approximately 900 kilometers of mountain bike trails and local trails create ideal conditions for active experiences of nature. The event is held around the “House of Sustainability” from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Experts teach visitors about nature, forestry, sustainability, and tourism in a playful way. Visitors can look forward to many exciting join-in activities, children´s entertainment, live music and culinary delights of the region. Sports enthusiasts can test physically demanding but also eco-friendly outdoor sports and get information on the latest trends in cycling.
