Saturday, May 9:

Spring and Arts & Crafts Market in Baumholder

The “Spring & Arts and Crafts” market in Baumholder takes place on the picturesque “Place de Warcq”. Talented regional artists and craftsmen showcase their unique, handmade creations from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The market is a meeting place for handicraft enthusiasts. Numerous exhibitors present a diverse range of their artworks and offer them for sale. Food and beverages are available as well. Experience spring in an atmospheric setting full of art, culture, and culinary delights. Free admission!

Saturday, May 9 – Sunday, May 10:

Dubbeglas Culinary Hike in Wolfstein

The hiking trail is approximately 7 km (4.3 miles) long and offers a wonderful landscape with panoramic views. Along the circular route, hikers have the opportunity to enjoy Palatinate specialties and wines. Culinary dishes and beverages are offered by several local clubs, restaurants, and vintners at 9 resting stations. Starting point and finish of the circular path is the town hall (resting area no. 1). The culinary hike takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. On Saturday the well-known party band Sergeant entertains the people at Schorleplatz (resting area no. 1) from 7 p.m. Get ready for a lively atmosphere and dance the night away. On Sunday the swing band Königsland performs from 10 a.m. The culinary hike is all about Dubbeglas, the original Palatinate wine and spritzer glass with its indentations. Participants can purchase the hiking package including a bag, a Dubbeglas 0.25 l, a hiking map as well as tokens for two and a wristband. With the wristband, hikers get their Dubbeglas filled with a beverage or wine spritzer for only € 3 at each station. The hiking package is available in advance at a price of € 14.95. Sunday, May 9:

Flea Market in Germersheim

The flea market in the city center of Germersheim invites people to browse and bargain. Private vendors offer a large selection of books, clothing, tableware, and whatever else can be found in the basement and attic. The flea market is held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Commercial traders are not permitted, so that the market stands remain a real treasure trove for lovers of unique items. Free admission!
