Open-Air Concerts in Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Congress Center Ramstein

In 2026 Congress Center Ramstein (CCR) celebrates its 40th anniversary with open-air concerts on the grounds of the AZUR swimming pool in Ramstein. From May 14 until May 16 the anniversary event guarantees great live music, fun and good vibes. Food and beverages are offered as well.

The festivities start on Thursday, May 14 (German holiday) with a family day featuring the party band “Habachtaler”. From 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. people can look forward to musical entertainment, a cozy atmosphere, and social gathering. Throughout the day DJ “Fibo” gets the visitors in the right mood for this special occasion. In between times, the audience can enjoy fabulous entertainment by “Habachtaler”. On Thursday tickets are € 5 per person.

On Friday, May 15, children and adults can listen to metal songs with performances by the band “Heavy Saurus”. It is the world's first dino metal band. The concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are € 12 for children under 3 years / € 23 for children aged between 3 and 11 / € 34 for people older than 11 years.

On Saturday, May 16, the top act is the German country rock band “The BossHoss”. Live on stage, the members of “The BossHoss” are an unforgettable, explosive, and energetic experience. Rock ‘n’ roll fans get their money's worth when the seven charismatic cowboys start to perform. Their repertoire includes the greatest hits such as “Don't Gimme That”, “Dos Bros”, “Do It”, “Jolene” and many more. The new album “Back to the Boots” is a tribute to their own beginnings. Their sound is modern and internationally inspired country rock – a current genre revival celebrated worldwide by acts such as Beyoncé, Post Malone, and Shaboozey. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are € 64.50 for adults and € 34.25 for children aged between 4 and 14 years.

Culinary Wine Hike in Herxheim am Berg

Herxheim am Berg is a little and quaint village at the German Wine Street. The approx. 4 km (2.5 miles) long trail leads through the vineyards, where hikers have a wonderful view. Along the circular path participants can taste selected wines of the local vintners and try Palatinate specialties offered at 7 stopover points. The booths along the trail open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors can easily get to Herxheim am Berg by train and get off at the hiking trail. Sunday, May 17:

Spring Fest at Lichtenberg Castle in Thallichtenberg

The popular event at Lichtenberg Castle includes a flower and herb market, special exhibitions as well as join-in activities for children and adults. Guided tours in German are offered free of charge. The museum of natural history GEOSKOP and the museum of local history are located on the premises of the castle and can also be visited free of charge. People can stroll through the herb market and purchase products like flowers, spices, oils, soaps, decoration items and much more. Different bands entertain the visitors with live music performances. Regional dishes, beverages, coffee and cakes are available, too. The event takes place from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Free admission!
