Saturday, May 27 – Monday, May 29:
68th Horse Show in Miesau
Each year on the Pentecost weekend the Bruchmühlbach-Miesau riding club hosts the popular horse show on its premises in Miesau. Altogether 250 riders from 50 different clubs located in Germany and Luxembourg are expected to participate in the contests. On Saturday morning the event starts with a jumping competition (level A), followed by six jumping competitions of various levels. Dressage competitions of different levels are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday the show will continue with dressage and jumping contests from 9 a.m. until 6.30 p.m. The most difficult dressage competition (level M) takes place at 2:30 p.m. The most difficult jumping competition (level M) is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. A free style competition for Spanish horses takes place at 7:30 p.m. The highlight of this event is the legendary torch light jumping on Sunday at 10 p.m. On Monday visitors can look forward to 12 more jumping and dressage competitions starting from 8:30 a.m. The most difficult jumping competition (level M) starts at 4 p.m. The free style dressage competition (level M) starts at 4 p.m. The horse show ends on Monday at 5:30 p.m. Free admission on Saturday. Family Day at Seewoog Lake in Miesenbach
The Catholic and Protestant parish will host a family day at Seewoog Lake recreation area in Miesenbach. All families are welcome! A varied program with lots of activities for the young and old will be offered. Look forward to games and handicraft workshops as well as many other surprises. Fun and joy for the whole family are guaranteed! The event starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. Free admission!

Sunday, May 28:
“Picnic in the Park” at Rose Garden Zweibrücken
The landmark of the city of Zweibrücken is the Rose Garden with more than 45,000 roses blooming there. Visitors can enjoy a nice walk through the Rose Garden including different areas, a pond, and a playground. The “Picnic in the Park” event invites the visitors to bring along their picnic basket and blanket and to listen to live musical entertainment by the quintet “Crazy Heart Connection”. Their repertoire includes blues and rock music with self-written songs. The music program starts at 11 a.m. The garden is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is € 5.50 for adults and € 2 for children aged 6 to 17 years; children younger than 6 years have free admission.
