Enchanting Zellertal - Arts and Wine Market in Niefernheim

The quaint village of Niefernheim hosts a wonderful arts and wine market with a varied entertainment program creating a great atmosphere throughout the village center. On Friday and Saturday, the event starts with musical entertainment at 6 p.m. On Sunday more than 30 artists and artisans display and sell their unique works of art such as sculptures, paintings, ceramics, woodwork, wickerwork and needlework from 11 a.m. Furthermore, a kid's program including face painting, a bouncy castle and games guarantees great fun for children. Enjoy culinary dishes from the wineries, Palatinate specialties as well as a variety of cakes and pies and taste exquisite wines from the magical Zellertal region. Experience a weekend full of enjoyment, creativity and cheerful mood.

Saturday, June 28:

Family Day in Rodenbach

The Kaiserslautern County administration hosts its 4th Family Day event. This year it takes place around Keltenplatz in Rodenbach, on the outskirts of the village from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event offers families, children, and young people a day of fun and action including join-in activities and demonstrations to give them ideas for their leisure time activities. Associations, institutions, tourism in the Kaiserslautern county and the Kaiserslautern county itself will be represented to offer a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, musical entertainment and culinary delicacies are offered. You and your family are cordially invited to come by and have a fantastic time. Free admission!

Sunday, June 29:

Open Garden Doors in Otterberg and the local Region

The sun is shining, the nature smells of roses and summer and there's a gentle breeze! Then it's time for the “Open Garden Doors” event. Numerous garden owners from the Union Communities of Bad Kreuznach, Lauterecken-Wolfstein, Nahe-Glan, Nordpfälzer Land and Otterbach-Otterberg open their garden doors to visitors. Gardeners have the opportunity to present the "fruits of their labor" to guests and to share their green oases with others at least once a year. The public is invited to show up at the participating gardens and explore them without reservation. The private gardens are only open on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., unless additional dates are specified. Free admission!
