Friday, June 26:

Ramstein Summer Nights – Italian Night

From June 26 until August 7 every Friday the Ramstein Summer Nights take place on an open-air stage in front of Congress Center Ramstein. Each theme night has the focus on a certain country with traditional music, food and drinks. The series of the Ramstein Summer Nights starts with an “Italian Night” on Friday, June 26. Live music by the band “VULCANO” entertains the audience. The band´s repertoire includes popular songs by Eros Ramazzotti, Umberto Tozzi, Zucchero, Adriano Celentano and others. Italian specialties are offered by the restaurant “Die Bühne”. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. The Ramstein Summer Nights are standing concerts and there are a few non-reservable seats and bar tables available. Enjoy the international flair in Ramstein!

Saturday, June 27 – Sunday, June 28:

Medieval Market at Lichtenberg Castle in Thallichtenberg

The historic Lichtenberg Castle is the perfect venue for such an event. Visitors are invited to experience history first-hand, as the clocks will be turned back to the Middle Ages. The market features a large knight camp presenting living history. The entertainment program includes medieval music and dance performances, gleemen, show fights, archery, and crossbow shooting. Visitors can look forward to a spectacular fire show on Saturday evening. Food and beverages are available. The medieval market takes place on Saturday from noon until 11 p.m. The official opening of the medieval market starts with gun salutes on Saturday at 2 p.m. On Sunday the market is held from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Admission fee is € 8 for adults and € 6 for youths and people dressed in medieval garments. Kids up to a height of 1:20 m have free entrance. The museum of natural history GEOSKOP and the museum of local history can be visited on payment of a small fee. Parking fee is € 2.

Sunday, June 28:

Airfield Festival in Langenbach

The Kusel Aviation Sports Club (Flugsportverein Kusel e. V.) cordially invites you to its annual airfield festival near the village of Langenbach. The family-friendly entertainment program includes join-in activities for children and various air shows. In addition, flights on a glider and motorized aircraft are offered at extra cost. Food and drinks are available. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. Admission is free.

Sunday, June 28:

Family Day in Otterbach

The Kaiserslautern County hosts its 5th Family Day event. This year it takes place in the village of Otterbach from noon until 6 p.m. The event features fun and action for the whole family. On two stages visitors can enjoy live music, dance shows, demonstrations of a drummer corps and performances of several kindergartens. Children and youths can look forward to join-in activities and games such as bull riding, bouncy castles, archery, climbing wall, face painting and much more. About 90 information booths of local associations, institutions and the administrative district provide further ideas for leisure time activities. You and your family are cordially invited to stop by and have a fantastic time. Free admission!

Sunday, June 28:

Open Garden Doors in Otterberg and the local Region

The sun is shining, nature smells of roses and summer and there's a gentle breeze! Then it's time for the “Open Garden Doors” event. Numerous garden owners from the Union Communities of Bad Kreuznach, Lauterecken-Wolfstein, Nahe-Glan, Nordpfälzer Land and Otterbach-Otterberg open their garden doors to visitors. Gardeners have the opportunity to present the "fruits of their labor" to guests and to share their green oases with others at least once a year. The public is invited to show up at the participating gardens and explore them without reservation. The private gardens are only open on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., unless additional dates are specified. Free admission!
