Throughout July the Ramstein Summer Lounge series takes place each Friday evening on the open-air stage in front of the Congress Center Ramstein next to the Ramstein bus station. The event series continues with the band “Birch Tree”. Five experienced musicians have set themselves the goal to play what they enjoy - designed and arranged for the predominantly female vocals. Their program is rich in variety and diversity and creates the right mood. Rock classics like "Toto - Hold the line" or "Meat Loaf - I'd do anything for love" are on the set list as well as some funk pieces (Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk) and current hits from the charts. The band starts performing at 7 p.m. Admittance is from 6 p.m. Guests will have reserved seats at tables! The restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage” serves food and drinks. Friday, July 15:
The Miesau Horseback Riding Club hosts an After-Work-Race event on July 15. Start of the races is at 4 p.m. Seven different thoroughbred horse races are planned with a length of 1.900 and 2.350 meters. Spectators have the opportunity to place bets. Admission fee is € 5 for adults. Children up to the age of 16 have free entrance. Food and beverages are available. The racetrack is located near the Schanzerhof and leads along the country road L356 in between the villages of Hütschenhausen and Miesau.

Saturday, July 16 – Sunday, July 17:
For everybody who is fond of tattoos and piercings the Congress Center Ramstein will be the place to be this weekend! At the Tattoo Tattaa Convention 80 international artists from tattoo studios all over Germany will present tattoos of all styles. There will a varied program with live tattooing, stage shows and live music. A tattoo contest will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Booths on the market square outside the Congress Center will offer food and drinks. Classic cars will be exhibited there, and you can watch an airbrush show. Admission fee is € 20 for the day ticket and € 30 for the weekend ticket valid for both days. Event hours are from noon to 8 p.m. daily. Tickets are available at the door. Saturday, July 16 – Sunday, July 17:
The village of Kottweiler-Schwanden hosts a flea market for the benefit of the two booster clubs of both Christian denominations. Both clubs have set themselves the task to maintain and improve the condition of the churches in Kottweiler-Schwanden. Contribute to the success of the event and visit the flea market. Vendors offer a large choice of second-hand goods such as clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry, books, records, CDs, tableware, household items and even furniture. It takes place on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the gym of Kottweiler-Schwanden (Sulzbachhalle). Coffee and cakes are available.

Friday, July 15 – Sunday, July 17:
The Ohmbach Lake is the biggest contiguous water surface in Western Palatinate and has a barrier-free circular path of 3.5 km (2.1 miles). For three days the Ohmbach Lake recreation area turns into a big open-air scene. Enjoy the diversified live music program on three stages. The musical entertainment ranges from rock and pop to golden oldies and folk music. Numerous booths offer food and beverages around the lake. One of the highlights is the illumination of the lake by a fireworks display, the so-called “Lake in Flames”, on Saturday evening.
Sunday is family day: A children´s program including a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon modeling, games and a lot more is provided from noon until 6 p.m. on Sunday and guarantees great fun and action for the young visitors. The festival takes place on Friday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. and on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. On Sunday the event starts at 11 a.m. and ends with a fireworks display at midnight. Kids and youths until 15 years have free entrance. Entrance fee for adults is € 8 on Friday and € 10 on Saturday. The entrance fee on Sunday until 5 p.m. is € 5; after 5 p.m. admission costs € 8.
