Ramstein Summer Nights – Cuban Night

From June 26 until August 7 every Friday the Ramstein Summer Nights take place on an open-air stage in front of Congress Center Ramstein. Each theme night has the focus on a certain country with traditional music, food and drinks. The series of the Ramstein Summer Nights continues with the "Cuban Night" on Friday, July 10. The band "CUBAN AFFAIRS" entertains the audience with popular rumba, mambo and salsa rhythms including songs by "Buena Vista Social Club". Cuban specialties are offered by the restaurant "Die Bühne". The event starts at 7:30 p.m. The Ramstein Summer Nights are standing concerts and there are a few non-reservable seats and bar tables available. Free admission! Enjoy the international flair in Ramstein!

Friday, July 10:

Guided Tour of Kaiserslautern’s Brewery History in English

The certified tourist guide Ulli Heist offers a tour of Kaiserslautern with the motto: “Hidden Traces of K-Town's Brewery History”. During this tour you will hear about the history of the breweries in Kaiserslautern. You will see at least two former beer and ice cellars from the inside. Certainly, a beer tasting is included in the tour as well! Please wear sturdy shoes and bring along a flashlight! The tour starts at 4:30 p.m. and lasts approximately 2.5 hours. Participation fee is € 18 per person. Meeting point for the tour is the Kaiserslautern Tourist Information (address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). Prior registration is required. Saturday, July 11:

Tarte Flambée Festival in Spesbach

On Saturday, July 11, the Partnerschaftsverein Hütschenhausen (association for twin towns) invites all residents of Hütschenhausen, Spesbach, Katzenbach and the local region to the traditional “Tarte Flambée Festival“ at the Spesbach Multipurpose Hall (Mehrzweckhalle). Starting at 3 p.m., the popular tartes flambées and refreshing drinks will be served. The 30th anniversary of the partnership with the French municipality of Precy-sur-Oise is the occasion for offering additional activities. The Füreinander-Miteinander association will prepare sweet crepes, the boules section of the sports club will give interested guests the opportunity to familiarize themselves with “boules,” France’s most popular sport. Club members will provide an opportunity for an open exchange of ideas on the topics of town twinning in general and the promotion of democracy. International visitors are welcome!

Sunday, June 28:

51st Rooster Festival in Queidersbach

The Queidersbach fire department hosts its traditional rooster festival. Crispy roast chicken prepared on huge grills, refreshing beverages, coffee and cake are offered. Visitors can look forward to a social gathering and great entertainment by the popular party band “HABACHTALER” performing on Saturday. The brass band “Arnbachtaler” entertains the people on Sunday. Additionally, on Saturday, bull riding is provided for anyone who wants to put his skills to the test. A bouncy castle is set up for children on both days. The festival starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday. The venue is the idyllic Festplatz in the village of Queidersbach. Free admission!
