Ramstein Summer Lounge with “Beatboat”
Throughout July the Ramstein Summer Lounge series takes place each Friday evening on the open-air stage in front of the Congress Center Ramstein next to the Ramstein bus station. The event series continues with the band “Beatboat”. The band takes you on a journey through music history. Its repertoire includes pop, soul, disco, jazz, and dance music. Besides classics by Eurythmics, Sting and Gloria Gaynor, the ensemble performs newer hits by Duffy, Alice Merton and Bruno Mars. The band members of “Beatboat” are experienced live and studio musicians who make the audience dance. The band starts performing at 7 p.m. Admittance is from 6 p.m. Guests will have reserved seats at tables! The restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage” serves food and drinks. Summer Night in Winnweiler
The “Advertising Association of Winnweiler” hosts a summer night festival throughout the pedestrian area on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Four bands entertain the visitors with live music performances. Watch various street artists like cartoonists, balloon artists and more, while strolling through the many shops that are open for night shopping until 10 p.m. Furthermore, the program includes face painting for children. Hobby artists offer their handcrafted items for sale. Various stands offer wine, beer, cocktails, and delicious food. Admission free! Address: Schlossstraße, 67722 Winnweiler
Saturday, July 23:
Weekly Fruit and Vegetable Market in Kaiserslautern
The weekly market takes place every Tuesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Stiftsplatz (market square in the city center) in Kaiserslautern. Customers can purchase everything their heart desires - fresh food such as fruits, vegetables, cheese, fish, sausage products as well as baked goods but also flowers and plants. Visitors are invited to browse around and experience the lovely atmosphere.

Sunday, July 24:
Concert Series at Kaiserslautern Volkspark
The concert series takes place from May until September from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Sunday. Various orchestras, choirs and bands from the region provide musical entertainment and a relaxing atmosphere in the green oasis of Kaiserslautern, the Volkspark. Their repertoire ranges from brass and classical music right to marching, swing and pop songs. For the upcoming Sunday the wind ensemble “Kolping Blasorchester Erfenbach” performs brass music. Food and beverages are available, too. Admission is free!

Take a Ride with the Börrstadt Garden Model Railroad
The Börrstadt Garden Railroad fascinates children as well as diehard railroad fans. It is the only nationwide model railroad on a scale of 1:5 that has a passenger transportation license. The locomotives were built truly to original by Karl-Heinz Jung. Take an amusing ride through the park area including a train station, signal tower, tunnel, bridge, and a railroad crossing next to the Börrstadt community center! Time of operation is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (in good weather only). Tickets cost € 1, ten tickets cost € 8.
