Ramstein Summer Nights – Italian Night

From July 12 until August 23 every Friday from 7:30 p.m. the Ramstein Summer Nights take place on an open-air stage in front of Congress Center Ramstein. Each theme night has the focus on a certain country with traditional music, food and drinks. The series of the Ramstein Summer Nights continues with an "Italian Night" on Friday, July 19. Live music by the band “VULCANO” entertains the audience. The band´s repertoire includes popular songs by Eros Ramazotti, Umberto Tozzi, Zucchero, Adriano Celentano and others. Italian specialties are offered by the restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage”. Enjoy the international flair in Ramstein. Free admission!

Saturday, July 20:

Open Air Classical Concert at Nanstein Castle

The Nanstein Castle is the perfect venue for such a fantastic open air event. The orchestra Camerata Saarbrücken is an extraordinary formation with an international line-up at the highest level and an established reputation. In the first part of the concert, soloist and conductor Wolfgang Mertes takes the audience on a journey into Vivaldi's "Four Seasons". The exceptional musicians will immerse the guests in spring, summer, fall and winter and create goosebump moments. In the second part of the concert, crossover music of well-known movie melodies will be presented. Here the ensemble will show off all its skills. Melodies from “Game of Thrones” and “Pirates of the Caribbean” as well as works by Ennio Morricone will be performed. This event is certainly a must for all music lovers. The concert starts at 7 p.m. Admittance is at 6 p.m. Entrance fee is € 25 for adults and € 12.50 for children up to 14 years. City Wall & Wine Festival in Freinsheim

The city wall festival in Freinsheim is held in the historic city center, which is surrounded by the medieval city wall dating back to the 15th century. The 1.3 km long city wall is among the biggest and most beautiful fortifications in the Palatinate region. You are invited to stroll through the baroque city center along its narrow alleys and romantic tiny squares. More than 20 stands and wineries provide delicious food and local wines. Street musicians entertain the visitors. The festival takes place from 6 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Friday, Saturday from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m., Sunday from 11.30 a.m. until midnight and Monday from 4 p.m. until midnight. Stores are open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. Using public transportation is recommended, since the center of the village (old town) is closed to traffic, parking lots are signposted.
