New Year´s Concert at Congress Center Ramstein

It has become a well-loved tradition: the New Year´s Concert of the Kaiserslautern County Symphony Orchestra at the Congress Center Ramstein. The orchestra, which is renowned beyond the region's borders, will welcome the year 2025 with swinging melodies in Ramstein. Conductor Alexander Mayer has selected well-known works by Johann Strauss (the waltz sequence "1001 Nights") and Franz von Suppè ("A Morning, Noon and Night in Vienna") as well as South American rhythms by Alberto Ginastera ("Estancia") for the program. The concert starts at 5 p.m. Admission is from 4 p.m. Tickets are available at the Congress Center Ramstein in three price categories: € 26.30/ € 29.60/ € 32.90. Exhibition “We love Playmobil” at Historisches Museum Speyer

The beloved toy Playmobil is celebrating its 50th anniversary. This special birthday is the reason for the Historical Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer to present a unique family exhibition all about the toy figures beloved all over the world: The interactive show “We Love Playmobil. 50 Jahre Spielgeschichte(n)”, was extended and will be showing until February 2. Get on a journey through fifty years of toy history and explore miniature Playmobil worlds on 1,000 square meters. Scenes of current Playmobil themes, such as “Adventures of Ayuma”, as well as historical themes, which teach history in a fun way, will be on display. These will include scenes of Roman life, ancient Egypt and Samurai in Japan.
