Ramstein Summer Nights with “xxtra”
Each Friday evening in August the series of the “Ramstein Summer Nights” takes place on the open-air stage in front of the Congress Center Ramstein next to the Ramstein bus station. The event series continues with the band “xxtra”. The members have music in their blood and madness in their heads. When it comes to celebrate an awesome party, then the band "xxtra" comes into play - sometimes cheeky rock, sometimes calm acoustic. The ensemble is powered by the fascination of music and manages to carry away the celebration community. The “Ramstein Summer Nights” events are standing concerts. There are a very few non-reservable seats and bar tables available. The restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage” serves food and beverages. Free admission! Further dates: 19 Aug and 26 Aug

Romantic Wine Festival in Deidesheim
Deidesheim hosts one of the most popular wine festivals at the German Wine Street. After two years of not being able to celebrate due to the pandemic, the festival takes place again this year. For the "restart", the Deidesheim wine fest is organized a little smaller. An entrance fee of € 3 per person is charged in order to refinance the significantly increased legal requirements in the field of security. But that shouldn't stop wine lovers from celebrating. In addition to numerous booths providing a large variety of culinary specialties along the romantic wine alley, the so-called “Weingass”, many wineries and restaurants throughout the historic center will also be open. Good mood is guaranteed by musical entertainment of various live bands. The event starts on Friday at 5 p.m. Using public transportation is recommended.

Saturday, August 13 - Monday, August 15:
Residenzfest in Kirchheimbolanden
This year the city of Kirchheimbolanden also called "Kleine Residenz" hosts its popular wine festival for the 70th time. In 2017 it was voted the most beautiful wine fest. You are cordially invited to party with the locals and experience the exuberant mood throughout the old part of town with its historic walls and towers. Enjoy a variety of Palatinate dishes and delicacies as well as an extensive selection of regional and supra-regional wines. On all three days live music is provided. Various ensembles, duos and dancing bands present an entertainment program for the young and the old. Stores are open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. The festival ends with the fireworks at 10:30 p.m. on Monday.
