Thursday, August 15:

International Family Day and Game Event in Hütschenhausen

In collaboration with the Ramstein Youth Center (Jugendbüro Ramstein) the sports club “TSV Hütschenhausen e.V.” organizes a family day event on its premises from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Local sponsors and other associations support them, too. German and international citizens and their families are cordially invited to join the club members in order to have an enjoyable time together. The young and the old, anybody can come by. The entertainment program includes activities and games such as tennis, beach volleyball, boules, chess, and many others. Field sports, painting and games for small children are provided as well. Dishes of grilled food and beverages are available free of charge. Salad donations for the buffet are very welcome. Registration is needed. Ramstein Summer Nights – Brazilian Night

Until August 23 every Friday from 7:30 p.m. the Ramstein Summer Nights take place on an open-air stage in front of Congress Center Ramstein. Each theme night has the focus on a certain country with traditional music, food and drinks. The series of the Ramstein Summer Nights continues with the "Brazilian Night" on Friday, August 16. The energetic ensemble “VIVA BRASIL” charmingly and explosively takes the audience into the land of traditional carnival sounds such as samba-reggae. Brazilian specialties are offered by the restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage”. Enjoy the international flair in Ramstein. Free admission!

Friday, August 16 – Sunday, August 18:

Wine Village in Weilerbach

The town of Weilerbach hosts its popular wine village event this weekend. Visitors can enjoy musical entertainment as well as excellent wines offered by several vintners from the German Wine Street. A large variety of culinary specialties such as spit roast (Idar-Oberstein-style), bratwurst, burgers (Palatinate-style), pizza, potato sticks, candy and much more are available. The official opening by the wine queen is on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Good mood is guaranteed by live music. “DJ Kai & Piere Percussion” entertain the visitors from 8 p.m. On Saturday solo singer “Mario Gilcher” performs from 8 p.m. On Sunday the band “Small Pint” plays music from 2 p.m. The opening hours of the wine village are Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. until midnight and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Free admission!

Sunday, August 18 – Friday, August 23:

Dance Week for Children offered by “TanzSportVerein Ramstein”

Within the activities offered in the context of the holiday program for children the Ramstein Dancing Club “TanzSportVerein Ramstein” organizes a dance week for kids with a variety of classes from Sunday, August 18 until Friday, August 23. Children of different age groups can try out hip-hop, breakdance and Latin dancing. Classes are offered at the club house in Miesenbach – participation is free of charge. To participate children don´t need to have any knowledge of German but should bring a good mood and clean shoes with light soles for the dance floor. To register please write an email to Tanz-Lothar@gmx.de. Every participant will get a 2024 dance t-shirt with a great logo (subject to availability).
