Friday, August 26:
Each Friday evening in August the series of the “Ramstein Summer Nights” takes place on the open-air stage in front of the Congress Center Ramstein next to the Ramstein bus station. The event series ends with the performances of the band “Superjam & Friends”. Real holiday feeling is guaranteed by Jamaican live music including finest reggae-riddims performed with boundless passion. The band produces and presents its own mix of roots reggae, modern reggae, rock, dancehall, dub and fusion. The audience can listen to songs from the albums "rEvolution pARTy" and "Root Mission" as well as new songs from the upcoming album "Mankind". In addition to that the band´s repertoire includes hits by Bob & Damian Marley, Peter Tosh, Alborosie, UB40, Gentleman, Chronixx and others. The message is: "Love, Peace & Freedom”. The “Ramstein Summer Nights” events are standing concerts. There are a very few non-reservable seats and bar tables available. The restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage” serves food and beverages. Friday, August 26 – Monday, August 29:
The village of Miesenbach traditionally celebrates its funfair the last weekend in August. From Friday through Monday the fairground features musical entertainment, fun rides for children, candy, food and beverages. “DJ Sasch” performs on Friday evening. The rock band “Impact” entertains the visitors on Saturday evening. An ecumenical church service is held on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. The male choir “MA-RA-MI” plays live music. A funny public speech is held at 3 p.m. On Monday the celebrations continue with a morning get-together for a drink and live music by solo entertainer “Horst”. Come and join the celebrations - free admission!

Saturday, August 27:
The Yeast Dumpling Fest takes place around Steinwenden´s landmark, the “Römerturm tower”, and starts at 2 p.m. Steamed yeast dumplings served with wine or vanilla sauce are a traditional Palatinate specialty. Patrons of the Ramstein-Miesenbach museum again prepare hundreds of these dumplings for the visitors. Cakes and pies, beverages, wines and sparkling wines from the German Wine Street and sausage dishes are available, too. A coffee bike offers coffee specialties. Free admission!

Saturday, August 27:
The Union Community of Weilerbach will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a Cultural Night. Museums and historic sites in the community such as the “Rheinhard Blauth Museum” in Weilerbach, the “Westpfälzer Musikantenmuseum” in Mackenbach, the Celtic grave site in Rodenbach and many buildings are open from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. Each of the participating institutions offers special exhibitions, lectures, musical entertainment, and activities for that special evening. The association “Rhönradmuseum” in Reichenbach-Steegen presents films and information about the historic gymnastics wheel in the yard of the bakery “Backparadies Kissel” (on Herrenbergstrasse). The inventor of this sports equipment, Otto Feick, was born in the community. You are cordially invited to visit this event and enjoy a great program. A bus shuttle operates between the museums and sites. Snacks and drinks are offered as well. Admission is free!
