Guided City Tour of Ramstein in English
Explore the town center of Ramstein and hear about the historic development of the former farming village into a modern and international city. You will get to see traces of the past and the oldest buildings in town. Besides that, the tour provides lots of information about present urban development and leisure activities. The event is family-friendly and free of charge! Please wear comfortable shoes and be up to explore the city walking. As a goody a cool drink will be offered at the end of the tour at the Ramstein Summer Night Event. This evening an “American Night” with live American country music by the Jim Everett Band takes place in the outside area of Congress Center Ramstein. You are welcome to stay and enjoy the festival atmosphere with free admission! The “Welcome to Rheinland-Pfalz” state program is the sponsor of the tour. It will be carried out by the “Window to Rheinland-Pfalz” information center of the City of Ramstein-Miesenbach. Ramstein Summer Nights – American Night
Until August 23 every Friday from 7:30 p.m. the Ramstein Summer Nights take place on an open-air stage in front of Congress Center Ramstein. Each theme night has the focus on a certain country with traditional music, food and drinks. The series of the Ramstein Summer Nights ends with the "American Night" on Friday, August 23. The ensemble “JIM EVERETT BAND” entertains the audience with American country music. American specialties are offered by the restaurant “Die Bühne-Backstage”. Enjoy the international flair in Ramstein. Free admission!

Friday, August 23 – Monday, August 26:
Miesenbach Anniversary Funfair
Two anniversaries will be celebrated this year with the annual funfair in Miesenbach. In 2024 it is the 180th anniversary of the Miesenbach fair and at the same time the 10th anniversary of the “Miesenbacher Ereignis- & Traditionsverein M.E.T.” which organizes the event. A varied program for all ages will be offered at the fairground by the sports field: From Friday through Monday the fairground features musical entertainment, fun rides for children, candy, coffee and cakes, food and beverages. On Friday the program starts at 8 p.m. The rock band “Kind of Used” performs on Friday from 9 p.m. On Saturday the funfair opens at 2 p.m. The official opening starts with the tapping of draft beer at 8 p.m. The party band “Die Buwe” entertains the visitors from 9 p.m. On Sunday a big anniversary festival parade takes place at 2 p.m. It starts at the market square (near Wasgau supermarket) and leads towards the sports field, where a funny public speech in Palatinate dialect, reporting on happenings of the past year, is held at 3 p.m. On Monday the celebrations start at 10 a.m. with a morning get-together for a drink and live music by solo entertainer “Horst”. The band “Dusk Pint” continues with live music from 5 p.m. Come by and join the celebrations! Free admission!

Felsenrock Event in Niedermohr
The Laborer Support Club Niedermohr “AUV 1905 e.V. Niedermohr” cordially invites you to this year´s “Felsenrock” open air event. According to the motto “before Corona is after Corona”, the board of the association has decided to bring its legendary rock festival back to life. The rock band PLUG-IN entertains the audience with a diversified program and thrilling live show. Its repertoire includes songs by “Metallica”, “AC/DC”, “3 Doors Down” and “Die Toten Hosen” as well as current chart-hits. Food and beverages are available. Admittance is at 6 p.m. The music program starts at 8:30 p.m. Admission fee is € 7 until 8 p.m. and € 9 after 8 p.m. 4 tickets will be raffled off. Saturday, August 31:
Yeast Dumpling Fest (Dampfnudelfest) in Steinwenden
The Yeast Dumpling Fest takes place around Steinwenden´s landmark, the “Römerturm tower”, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Steamed yeast dumplings served with wine or vanilla sauce are a traditional Palatinate specialty. Patrons of the Ramstein-Miesenbach museum again prepare hundreds of these dumplings for the visitors. Cakes and pies, beverages, wine and sparkling wine from the German Wine Street, and sausage dishes are available, too. A coffee bike offers coffee specialties. Solo entertainer “Matthias” will be responsible for the live music program. Free admission!
