Miesenbach Funfair
Miesenbach celebrates its annual funfair with a great program organized by the association “Miesenbacher Ereignis- & Traditionsverein”. The fairground is located next to the sports field. Visitors can look forward to musical entertainment, fun rides for children, candy, coffee and cakes, food and beverages. On Friday the program starts at 8 p.m. The party band “INFLIGHT” performs from 9 p.m. On Saturday the funfair opens at 2 p.m. The rock band “DOC´S” entertains the visitors from 9 p.m. On Sunday morning an ecumenical church service takes place at 10:30 a.m. A funny public speech in Palatinate dialect (the so-called “Kerweredd”), reporting on happenings of the past year, is held at 3 p.m. On Monday the celebrations start at 10 a.m. with a morning get-together for a drink and live music by solo entertainer “Horst”. The band “UNERHÖRT” continues with live music from 4 p.m. Free admission!

Yeast Dumpling Fest (Dampfnudelfest) in Steinwenden
The association “Förderkreis Heimatmuseum der VG Ramstein-Miesenbach” helds its Yeast Dumpling Fest for the 42th time. It takes place around Steinwenden´s landmark “Römerturm”, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. People can enjoy steamed yeast dumpling served with wine or vanilla sauce which is a traditional Palatinate specialty. Dishes such as potato soup, sausage rolls, and cheese-filled rolls are available too. Cakes, pies, French toast, beverages, freshly tapped beer and wine from the German Wine Street are offered as well. Delicious homemade jam but also antique books can be purchased. Solo entertainer Matthias Divivier provides live music. Free admission!

“Summer in the City” at Landstuhl Stadthalle
Throughout the summer months the civic center “Stadthalle” hosts an event series titled “Summer in the City” with a live music program of different bands. The events take place on Saturday evenings. The event series ends with the performance of the band “Cry in Heaven”. Its repertoire is a varied mixture of rock anthems and pop ballads. The venue is an open-air stage in front of “Stadthalle”. In case of bad weather, the event will take place inside “Stadthalle”. Admittance is at 6 p.m. The music begins at 7 p.m. Come by and enjoy a cheerful atmosphere. Free admission!

Felsenrock Event in Niedermohr
The Labor Support Club Niedermohr “AUV 1905 e.V. Niedermohr” cordially invites you to its “Felsenrock” open air event. The rock band FUSED entertains the audience. The band's performances are characterized by unheard-of medleys and mash-ups. Songs known from the radio and (rock) classics are completely reinterpreted and given its own - subtly harder - touch. Food and beverages are available. Admittance is at 6 p.m. Music program starts at 9 p.m. Admission fee is € 15. Pre-sale tickets are € 10. 4 tickets will be raffled off. “Time Travel” – English Tour in Otterberg
Get on the rustic, horse-drawn covered wagon, and travel back in time through the city of Otterberg. The tour combines tradition and the modern age. With virtual reality glasses you immerse yourself in days gone by: from the time of the monastery in 1254 to the Walloon town in 1615. Imagine the wind in your face, feel the jerking of the wagon, hear the clattering of the horses' hooves, and feel completely transported back to the past. After the carriage ride, a visit to the stately Otterberg Abbey Church awaits you as part of an English guided tour. Here you learn about the exciting history of the church, and you experience the incomparable atmosphere, live, no longer virtually but the real present-day occurrences. The “Time Travel” tour takes approx. 1.5 hours and is offered twice. First tour starts at 2:30 p.m. and the second one at 4:30 p.m. Desired dates for groups of 9 to max. 12 people can be arranged upon request. Guided Historical City Walk of Kaiserslautern in English
The walking-tour in the downtown area highlights interesting historical and present-day facts about the more than 750-year-old Barbarossa city. Please note that the tour does not include the underground tunnels. The tour starts at 11.15 a.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting Point for the tour is the Tourist Information (address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). Participation fee is € 7 for adults; the reduced fee is € 6.
