Kusel Fair
The official opening of the fair starts with the tapping of the beer keg on Friday at 8.30 p.m. The old and the young can enjoy carnival rides and attractions. Numerous booths offer candy, food and beverages as well as various other products and items. Musical entertainment is presented by different bands each day. On Saturday at 3 p.m. a big festival parade leads through the city center of Kusel. In the festival tent a brass concert puts the audience in the right mood for the Sunday morning get-together at 11.30 a.m. Stores are open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. On Monday visitors gather again in the festival tent for the traditional pre-lunch drink from 11 a.m. Tuesday is family day with reduced prices for the fun rides. The fair ends with fireworks display on Tuesday at approx. 9.30 p.m.

LEGO® Fan Exhibition in Landstuhl
This weekend, a large LEGO® fan exhibition organized by the “Lauter Steine e.V.” association takes place inside the “Stadthalle” civic center in Landstuhl. The association also organizes the LEGO® exhibition on the grounds of the Kaiserslautern Gartenschau. A variety of custom builds (LEGO® MOCs) are on display. These creations are made by fans based on their own imagination and using original LEGO bricks. Construction activities are offered. A flea market is held too. LEGO enthusiasts can visit the exhibition on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children up to 4 years of age are admitted free of charge. Children aged 5 to 13 pay € 4 admission. Ticket price for adults and youths from 14 years up is € 6. Family tickets (2 adults + 2 children) are € 16. Gourmet Market in Zellertal-Niefernheim
From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. numerous producers offer a great choice of delicacies and goods from the region. Whether jams made from hand-picked and fully ripe fruit, golden brown honey from local beekeepers, sausages, bread, cheese specialties, pasta, oils, and much more – visitors can look forward to a large variety of products. Enjoy the Mediterranean flair of the Bremer winery and treat yourself to some fine food, a good glass of wine or beer. Admission free!

Sheltered Workshop Festival in Landstuhl
The festival is hosted by the “Ökumenisches Gemeinschaftswerk Pfalz” welfare institution and is a great encounter for the young and old. Employees of the sheltered workshop in Landstuhl demonstrate their work and offer their self-made products for sale. Information about the workshop council and women’s representatives is available. An ecumenical church service is held from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Throughout the day, great entertainment is provided by dance performances as well as brass, funk and soul music. Visitors can look forward to a varied program including an obstacle course, a balloon contest, bouncy castle, table soccer, creating badges, face painting and much more. A large flea market is held too. Furthermore, people can visit two exhibitions. Delicious food, beverages, coffee and cakes as well as ice cream can be purchased. The festival starts at 10 a.m. Admission free!
