The official opening of the fair starts with the tapping of the beer keg on Friday at 8.30 p.m. The old and the young can enjoy carnival rides and attractions. Numerous booths offer candy, food and beverages as well as various other products and items. Musical entertainment is presented by different bands each day. On Saturday at 3 p.m. a big festival parade leads through the city center of Kusel. In the festival tent a brass concert puts the audience in the right mood for the Sunday morning get-together at 11.30 a.m. Stores are open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. On Monday visitors gather again in the festival tent for the traditional pre-lunch drink from 11 a.m. Tuesday is family day with reduced prices for the fun rides. The fair ends with fireworks display on Tuesday at approx. 9.30 p.m.

Experience the history and culture of Kaiserslautern in a lively way! The tour starts with a visit to the Count Palatinate Hall of the former Casimir Castle, where official receptions of the city are held today. Afterwards the tour continues through the underground passages. These tunnels are approx. 70 meters long. The passages are equipped with illuminated boards and sound effects illustrating Kaiserslautern in ancient times. The tour starts at 11.15 a.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting Point for the tour is the Tourist Information (address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). The participation fee is € 7 for adults; the reduced fee is € 6. This weekend, a large LEGO® fan exhibition organized by the “Lauter Steine e.V.” association takes place inside the “Stadthalle” civic center in Landstuhl. The association also organizes the LEGO® exhibition on the grounds of Kaiserslautern Gartenschau. A variety of custom builds (LEGO® MOCs) are on display. These creations are made by fans based on their own imagination and using original LEGO bricks. Construction activities are offered. A flea market is held too. LEGO enthusiasts can visit the exhibition on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Children up to 4 years of age are admitted free of charge. Children aged 5 to 13 pay € 4 admission. Ticket price for adults and youths from 14 years up is € 6. Family tickets (2 adults + 2 children) are € 16. The Ramstein fire department cordially invites you to its open house event starting 11 a.m. Since 1867 the fire department is on duty and safes people´s life within the Union Community of Ramstein-Miesenbach. Learn about the firefighters´ work and experience modern technology from up close. The family friendly entertainment program includes guided tours through the fire station, a fire truck exhibition as well as activities and a bouncy castle for children. Food, beverages, coffee and cakes are available. Admission free!

The Finnish progressive rock band “The Samurai Of Prog” starts its first European tour in September 2026. In addition to concerts in Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands, the first and only concert in Germany takes place at the CCR lounge in Ramstein. The ensemble can look back on nearly 20 studio releases over the past 15 years. These were realized with the help of numerous guest musicians such as Jon Davison (Yes), Roine Stolt (Flower Kings), Steve Hackett (Genesis), Guy LeBlanc (Camel), Robert Webb (England), Ton Scherpenzeel (Camel, Kayak), and Linus Kåse (Änglagård). Show starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are € 30.70.
