Ramstein Funfair (Kerwe)
The traditional Ramstein funfair is hosted on the third weekend in September each year. Ramstein’s market square turns into a big fairground. The funfair features fun rides and booths offering candies, as well as food, beverages, and musical entertainment. Amusement rides open from 6 p.m. on Friday. At 8.30 p.m. the youngsters of the town – the “Ramstein Straußjugend” - meet at the fairground to start the fair with a joyful get-together for the first mug of beer. On Saturday the fairground opens at 2 p.m. The mayor of Ramstein, Ralf Hechler, will officially open the fair by tapping the beer keg at 7 p.m. A fireworks display is scheduled for 10 p.m. On Sunday the traditional raising of the fair pole takes place in front of the Ramstein museum (on Miesenbacher Strasse 1) at 3 p.m. On Monday visitors gather from 10 a.m. for pre-lunch drink at the various restaurants in town. The family day on Tuesday features special discounts. The festival ends with the “funeral procession” by the “Ramstein Straußjugend” on Tuesday at 8.30 p.m.

Mineral & Fossil Swap in Imsbach
The motto of the exhibition is “Information - Swapping - Purchasing”. More than 30 exhibitors display their treasures from a world before present. Some of the collectors will present finds from the Donnersberg region and other exhibitors display minerals and fossils from all over the world. The event takes place at the community center in Imsbach (Gemeindehalle). The opening hours of the exhibition are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission for adults is € 3 and for children € 1.50. Kids who are smaller than 1 meter have free entrance. The mining museum located very close to the swap can be visited free of charge. German guided tours through the mine (Grube Maria) are offered for adventurous visitors. Admission for adults is € 8 and for children € 5. A family ticket valid for 2 adults and up to 3 children is available for € 20. Guided tours are offered hourly from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. A free shuttle operating between the two locations hourly from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. takes the visitors back and forth. “Rock ‘n’ Roll meets Wine” Event in Hochspeyer
The association “Aktiv für Hochspeyer e.V.” hosts an event at the Hochspeyer swimming pool with the motto “Rock ‘n’ Roll meets Wine”. The event starts at 4 p.m. Palatinate wines, cocktails, dishes of grilled food as well as sweet treats are offered. A car exhibition organized by the associations “BMW Club TNNC“ and “K-Town Rebel Cruisers” can be visited at the parking lot of the swimming pool free of charge. They present classic cars and fun cars. The stage program starts with a performance of the Portuguese folklore group from Kaiserslautern at 4:30 p.m. Afterwards, the cheerleaders of the football team “Kaiserslautern Pikes” entertain the audience with a presentation of their sporting skills. The highlight of the event is the live performance of the band "The Rhythm Kings" starting at 7 p.m. Admission to the event is € 7.
