Landstuhl City Festival

The traditional city festival takes place for the 36th time and starts with the tapping of the beer keg on Friday at 6:30 p.m. Visitors can look forward to a great live entertainment program in the city center of Landstuhl that will be closed to traffic. On three stages numerous bands and groups present dance performances as well as brass music, country, jazz, pop and rock songs. The jazz ensemble of the US Air Force in Europe Band “Wings of Swing” plays on Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Approximately 50 exhibitors and vendors along the festival mile offer a large variety of food and beverages as well as arts and crafts. On Saturday the festival starts at 2 p.m. and on Sunday at 11 a.m. Stores in Landstuhl are open on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Address: Kaiserstrasse 39, 66849 Landstuhl

Modern Country Night with “SALVATI” at Congress Center Ramstein

After his sold-out tour of Germany, Europe, and the US – with stops in Nashville (Florida), and even a feature on ABC News – Sascha Salvati returns to Ramstein. He not only presents his own songs, but also his favorite modern country covers by artists such as Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Jordan Davis, Zach Top, Zac Brown, Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and many more. The audience can look forward to an incredible voice, a first-class live band, and a production inspired by the sound of the current Nashville scene. Experience a show full of energy, emotion, and real Nashville spirit. Show starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are € 39.50.

Ramstein-Miesenbach Seewoog Run

The “LT Olympia Ramstein” running team of the Ramstein soccer club hosts its 10th running event with several options regarding the length of the trail and age group. Start and end point is Ramstein “Reichswaldstadion” located next to the school “Realschule Plus”. For the youngest participants born in 2019 or younger a Bambini Run of 400 meters is offered. Starting time is at 10 a.m. – participation fee is € 4. A Pupil’s Run of 800 meters is offered for youngsters born from 2012 until 2018. Starting time is at 10:10 a.m. – participation fee is € 4. The Fun Run is offered for participants born in 2012 and older. The trail has a length of 5 km and an altitude difference of 50 meters. It is also suitable for hikers and pole walkers. Starting time is at 10:35 a.m. – participation fee is € 7. The Main Run with a length of 10 km is offered for all participants born in 2009 and older. This trail includes an altitude difference of 100 meters. Starting time is at 10:30 a.m. – participation fee is € 10. Bib numbers will be handed out at the gym “Reichswaldsporthalle” from 8.30 a.m. where you pay the participation fee. Locker room, showers and catering can be found inside the gym. Sunday, September 13:

Biking Event “Sattelfest” on Zellertal Bike Trail

Experience the family friendly cycling event along the “Zellertal” bike trail between Monsheim and Marnheim. Along the 40 km long route (there and back) a picturesque landscape and several places of interest can be discovered. Ride your bike away from traffic, mostly following the course of the “Pfrimm” stream. In the villages and towns along the trail an appropriate entertainment program as well as culinary delights and excellent wines from the local region are offered. Vintners, caterers, and associations invite the visitors to take a rest and linger. Cyclists can start at any location along the route. It is also possible to cycle a part of the trail and take the train back to the starting point. For more ambitious cyclists, there are steep inclines leading to the villages of Mölsheim, Zell and Einselthum. Event hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
