Friday, September 26:

Guided City Tour of Ramstein in English

Explore the town center of Ramstein and hear about the historic development of the former farming village into a modern and international city. You will get to see traces of the past and the oldest buildings in town. Besides that, the tour provides lots of information about present urban development and leisure activities. The event is family-friendly and free of charge! Please wear comfortable shoes and be up to explore the city walking. A cool drink and snack will be offered at the end of the tour. The “Welcome to Rheinland-Pfalz” state program is the sponsor of the tour. The tour starts at 4 p.m. The meeting point will be communicated after the registration. Friday, September 26 – Sunday, September 28:

Culinary Wine Hike in Freinsheim

Freinsheim is a quaint and picturesque village at the German Wine Street. A 7 km (4.4 miles) long trail leads through the wonderful vineyards of Freinsheim. Along the circular path hikers can taste selected wines of the local vintners and try Palatinate specialties offered at 18 stopover points. Starting point of the trail is the historic city hall (address: Hauptstrasse 2, 67251 Freinsheim). A highlight of the Culinary Wine Hike is a laser show with laser lights and music, which takes place between stand 10 and stand 11 on Friday evening at around 9 p.m. The booths along the trail open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Stores open for Sunday shopping from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The town center is closed to traffic during the event. Parking is available on the outskirts of the village. It is recommended to take a train to Freinsheim. Free participation! Teenager Clothing Bazaar in Ramstein

The traditional clothing bazaar is held at Ramstein “Mehrgenerationenhaus” from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Second-hand clothing for teenagers and children from 10 years (starting with German clothing size 140) as well as shoes, accessories, toys and games are sold. Country Night with “SALVATI” at Congress Center Ramstein

All fans of country and western music can look forward to an enjoyable evening! Country Star Sascha Salvati (known from German TV shows like “Popstars”, “The Voice Of Germany” or “All Together Now”) presents his new country “FREEDOM ALBUM”. He performs the biggest hits of Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kane Brown, Cody Johnson and many other well-known country stars. Special guest: Tialda van Slogteren. Sunday, September 28:

Farmers` Market in Schneckenhausen

Strolling through the village center of Schneckenhausen, you can get acquainted with a wide variety of products which mainly come from the local area. The farmers` market takes place on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. More than 70 vendors and farmers provide a large selection of regional products such as farm-baked bread, vegetables, fruits, herbs, pumpkins, cheese, organic honey, juices, marmalades, sausage variations and much more. Visitors can also purchase decoration items, hand-made candles, woodwork, pottery and jewelry. Kids will enjoy watching the animals that are presented throughout the market. Convince yourself of the taste of culinary dishes and home-baked cakes. Free admission!
