Pumpkin Festival in Spesbach
The Spesbach “Country Women´s Association” hosts a pumpkin festival on the village square in Spesbach behind the school building. The festival starts at noon. Visitors can look forward to culinary delights and creative offers. The “Country Women” sell their homemade pumpkin jelly. The traditional pumpkin soup must not be missing in this event! Coffee and cakes as well as other specialties are available, too. Furthermore, the event features a whisky stand and live music. The entertainment program for children includes pumpkin painting, crafts workshops, a petting zoo, and a bouncy castle. Exhibitors demonstrate their arts and crafts. Everybody is welcome!

Honey Creek - Rock Blues Band - at Congress Center Ramstein
Honey Creek performs at the Congress Center Ramstein in the context of its "Rock `n´ Blues Roadshow". With drummer Joan Massing from France, bassist Sebastian Mitzel, guitarist Michael Reufsteck and the Californian frontman James Boyle, Honey Creek takes the audience into the world of stories about death, devils, relationships and life. The quartet´s heartbreaking ballads, powerful blues rock and great show, create goose bump feeling. Its debut album "Devil's Lullaby" made it to number 1 in the international download charts in 2016, and to number 2 in January 2017, right after "The Rolling Stones". It was CD of the month in July 2016 at the "Blues in Germany" radio station and it was act of the month in February 2017 in the "Gitarre & Bass" magazine. Honey Creek´s live show is intense, energetic, enthralling and full of surprises. The concert takes place at the Congress Center Ramstein and starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are € 15. The event is partly provided with seats - free seating! English Guided Tour in Kaiserslautern
The Tourist Information Kaiserslautern offers a guided tour through the Count Palatinate Hall with the subterranean tunnels. The tour will take you to the history and culture of the ancient times of “K-town”. It starts with a visit of the Count Palatinate Hall of the former Casimir Castle, where official receptions of the city are held today. Afterwards you descend to the subterranean tunnels. These passages are approx. 70 meters long. The tunnels are equipped with illuminated boards and sound effects illustrating the history of Kaiserslautern. The tour starts at 11.15 a.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting Point for the tour is the Tourist Information (Address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). Participation fee is € 5 for adults, the reduced fee is € 4. Prior registration is required.
