Pumpkin Festival in Spesbach
The Spesbach “Country Women´s Association” hosts a pumpkin festival on the village square in Spesbach behind the school building. The festival starts at noon. Visitors can look forward to culinary delights and creative offers. The “Country Women” sell their homemade pumpkin jelly. The traditional pumpkin soup must not be missing in this event! Coffee and cakes as well as other food offers and pumpkin specialties are available, e.g., pumpkin smoothies, pumpkin cocktails, or pumpkin cakes. Furthermore, the event features a whisky lounge and live music. The entertainment program for children includes pumpkin painting, and a bouncy castle. Exhibitors demonstrate their arts and crafts. Everybody is welcome!

English Guided Tour in Kaiserslautern
The Tourist Information Kaiserslautern offers a guided tour through the Count Palatinate Hall with the subterranean tunnels. The tour will take you to the history and culture of the ancient times of “K-town”. It starts with a visit of the Count Palatinate Hall of the former Casimir Castle, where official receptions of the city are held today. Afterwards you descend to the subterranean tunnels. These passages are approx. 70 meters long. The tunnels are equipped with illuminated boards and sound effects illustrating the history of Kaiserslautern. The tour starts at 11.15 a.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting point for the tour is the Tourist Information (Address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). Participation fee is € 5 for adults, the reduced fee is € 4. Prior registration is required. The traditional clothing bazaar is held at the “Mehrgenerationenhaus” from 9.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. Second-hand clothing for children and teenagers from 10 years (starting with german clothing size 140) as well as shoes, accessories, toys, and games are available. Felsenfest in Niedermohr
The association AUV Niedermohr cordially invites you to this year's “Felsenfest” on Sunday, October 8th in their clubhouse “Zur Fels“. From 11 a.m. people gather for the traditional morning drink with veal sausages, pretzels and tap wheat beer. Musical entertainment for this morning pint will be provided by the “Reichenbach Böhmische Musikanten” brass band. Afterwards a varied afternoon program with a firewood auction and a sawing competition awaits the visitors. For hungry guests local specialties like tarte flambée, liver dumplings and bratwurst will be available. The AUV association is looking forward to welcoming you!
