Torch Run in Rodenbach

The sports club “Turnverein 1965 e. V. Rodenbach” hosts the popular running event. Start and end point is the Rodenbach bell tower (Glockenturm). Three runs of different lengths are provided for several age groups:

Bambini Run with a length of 400 meters starting at 5:30 p.m. is offered for participants born in 2019 and younger.

Student Run with a length of 1,100 meters starting at 5:40 p.m. is offered for runners born from 2013 until 2018.

Main Run with a length of 7 km starting at 6 p.m. is offered for participants born in 2013 and older.

Food and beverages as well as locker rooms and showers are available in the sports hall (address: Turnerstrasse 5, 67688 Rodenbach). The entry fee for adults with pre-registration is € 12. Students up to 16 years only pay € 5. Late registrations are possible on site until 30 minutes before the start. Country Night with “Lousiana on Tour” at Congress Center Ramstein

“Louisiana on Tour“ is a German country and line dance band consisting of six musicians from the Rhein-Main and Saarland region. The band has been touring southwestern Germany, France, and the USA for more than 10 years. With lead guitar, steel guitar, western guitar, bass, drums and polyphonic choir vocals, the band creates the characteristic country sound. “Louisiana on Tour” presents a broad variety of traditional country hits, the typical “West-Coast-Sound” as well as new country songs. Country music fans can look forward to an enjoyable evening. Front singer and dance instructor Elke invites all friends of line dancing to the dance floor. The concert starts at 8 p. m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are € 14. Free choice of seating! Guided Tour of Kaiserslautern in English

Experience the history and culture of Kaiserslautern in a lively way! The tour starts with a visit to the Count Palatinate Hall of the former Casimir Castle, where official receptions of the city are held today. Afterwards, the tour continues through the underground passages. These tunnels are approx. 70 meters long. The passages are equipped with illuminated boards and sound effects illustrating Kaiserslautern in ancient times. The tour starts at 11:15 a.m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. The meeting Point for the tour is the Tourist Information (address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). The participation fee is € 7 for adults; the reduced fee is € 6. Guided City Tour of Ramstein in English

Explore the town center of Ramstein and hear about the historic development of the former farming village into a modern and international city. You will get to see traces of the past and the oldest buildings in town. Besides that, the tour provides lots of information about present urban development and leisure activities. The event is family-friendly and free of charge! Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to explore the city walking. As a goody, a cool drink and snack will be offered at the end of the tour. The “Welcome to Rheinland-Pfalz” state program is the sponsor of the tour. It will be carried out by the “Window to Rheinland-Pfalz” information center of the City of Ramstein-Miesenbach.
