Friday, December 1 – Sunday, December 3:

Landstuhl Christmas Market

In cooperation with Kaiserslautern wine bar “Cuvée Weinbar & Vinothek” the city of Landstuhl hosts a Christmas market during the 1st / 2nd and 3rd Advent weekend at the city park “Alter Markt”. On the first Advent weekend a cultural market is additionally held inside the civic hall Stadthalle. A wonderful selection of handicraft, gift ideas and Christmas decoration are offered. Visitors can look forward to regional delicacies, beverages, mulled wine and much more. Christmas carols will put the people in the right mood for the Advent season. The Christmas market opens on Fridays from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. / Saturdays from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Friday, December 1 – Sunday, December 3:

Medieval Christmas Market at Lichtenberg Castle

The medieval Christmas market in and around Lichtenberg Castle is always worth a visit. In front of the magnificent backdrop of the castle, visitors can look forward to a medieval hustle and bustle with numerous booths presenting craftsmanship. Gift ideas and decoration items for the Advent season are available too. The medieval spectacle includes dance and music performances, a nativity scene, archery and crossbow shooting. Furthermore, a children´s program is provided. People can listen to Christmas carols and enjoy the great offer of food and beverages. The official opening starts with gun salutes at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Santa Claus surprises the little visitors on Sunday. The Christmas market takes place on Saturday from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Free admission! Parking fee is € 2.

Saturday, December 2 – Sunday, December 3:

Christmas Market in Kottweiler-Schwanden

The community of Kottweiler-Schwanden celebrates its Christmas market on the first weekend of Advent in front of the community center Sulzbachhalle. The market has become an integral part in the event calendar of most fellow citizens and far beyond the village borders. A wide range of goods such as handicraft, woodwork from the Erzgebirge region as well as popular Advent decoration, door and Advent wreaths are presented. Visitors can treat themselves to delicious food and seasonal beverages. Another special offer is the raffle with attractive prizes to win. The market starts on Saturday at 4 p.m. Children will be surprised by Santa Claus at 6 p.m. Throughout the evening musical entertainment is provided by street musicians. On Sunday the Christmas market starts already at 11 a.m. with a church service assisted by the musical society. The organizers and all participating clubs are looking forward to welcoming you! to 6 p.m.

Friday, December 1 – Saturday, December 23:

Kaiserslautern Cultural Market

More than 80 exhibitors present a great variety of high-quality arts and crafts, unique items, cute gift ideas and fair-trade products at the historic Fruchthalle for almost four weeks. Some of the participants stay for the entire period, but for the most part there is a brisk change in the range of products. On two floors of the cultural hall visitors do have the opportunity to stroll, browse and to marvel. People can purchase goods such as ceramics, jewelry, light objects, candles, soaps, leatherwork, bags, children's clothing, products made of wood, glass and paper, stonemasonry, handmade stuffed animals and much more. Two cafés invite the visitors to meet friends and linger. Experience a very special pre-Christmas atmosphere! The cultural market opens daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays already from 10 a.m. Free admission!
