Friday, November 29 – Sunday, December 22:

Arts and Crafts Market in Kaiserslautern

More than 80 artisans present a great variety of handcrafted items, including ceramics, jewelry, and light sculptures, as well as candles, soaps, and leather goods at Kaiserslautern Fruchthalle. On two floors visitors can browse and purchase wooden, glass, and paper creations, as well as bags, fashion, textiles, handmade plush toys, and unique accessories. Alongside well-loved permanent exhibitors who will be present throughout the market’s run, a rotating lineup of temporary exhibitors keeps every visit fresh and exciting. Two cafés invite people to meet friends and linger. Experience a very special pre-Christmas atmosphere! The arts and crafts market opens daily from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free admission!

Saturday, November 30 – Sunday, December 1:

Medieval Christmas Market at Lichtenberg Castle

In front of the magnificent backdrop of the castle the medieval Christmas market is always worth a visit. The young and the old are invited to experience an authentic reenactment of the Middle Ages. Knight camps demonstrate how live was back in the days. Numerous booths present craftsmanship. Gift and decoration items for the Advent season are available. The medieval spectacle includes dance and music performances, archery, crossbow shooting and live animals. A fire show takes place on Saturday evening. Kids can look forward to Santa Claus visiting the market on Sunday afternoon. Enjoy a great offer of food and beverages. On Saturday the Christmas market takes place from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m. The official opening starts with gun salutes at 2 p.m. On Sunday the market takes place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Parking fee is € 2. Free admission!

Saturday, November 30 – Sunday, December 1:

Christmas Market in Spesbach

In collaboration with the local clubs Spesbach hosts a Christmas market. The market starts on Saturday at 3 p.m. The village green behind the elementary school turns into a magic Christmas world. Culinary delights are offered. Santa Claus visits the market at 6 p.m. and distributes little surprises among children. A Christmas bazaar is held inside the multipurpose hall (Mehrzweckhalle) where visitors can warm up over coffee and cake. Handiwork, decoration items and gift ideas are presented. On Sunday the Christmas bazaar inside the multipurpose hall continues from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. A church service including performances by the Hütschenhausen Youth Orchestra is held at 10.30 a.m. Furthermore lunch as well as coffee and cakes are available.
