Children´s Wear & Toy Bazaar in Spesbach
The Spesbach kindergarten “Villa Kunterbunt” hosts a children’s bazaar inside the multipurpose hall (Mehrzweckhalle) in Spesbach from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Children’s wear and toys are sold. Handwork as well as crafts are offered too. Coffee and cake as well as pretzels and beverages are available. The organizers look forward to welcoming you and your family!

Classical Concert: String Quartet "Turicum Quartett" in Kusel
The young ensemble “Turicum Quartett” performs at “Fritz-Wunderlich Halle” in Kusel at 6 p.m. The string quartet comes from Zurich and introduces itself to the audience with music of the Viennese Classical period. Its repertoire includes three Viennese masterpieces: the penultimate string quartet by Joseph Haydn (opus 77 No. 1), the young Beethoven's B-flat major quartet (opus 18 No. 6) and the wonderful A minor quartet by Johannes Brahms (opus 51 No. 2). Ice Rink in Kaiserslautern
From January 20th, 2023, an exciting winter fun activity awaits you on Kaiserslautern´s Schillerplatz. On Kaiserslautern's first ecological ice rink, you can do your laps on 300 sq m of ice with your own skates or with rental skates. Enjoy ice skating without the negative climate balance of a conventional ice rink! Up to 80 people can comfortably be on the rink at the same time. The synthetic ice rink has a size of 26 x 12 meters. Ice skates and skating aids can also be hired on site. Alternatively, you can of course also bring your own ice skates. They just must be sharpened properly. If required, you can have them sharpened at the skating rink. The price for skate rental is € 4.50 per person. Admission for one hour skating fun is € 4.50 for adults and € 3.50 for children. Opening hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wintry drinks as well as hearty & sweet delicacies are offered at some rustic huts next to the rink. Two curling lanes, where you can curl in small groups of a maximum of 10 people each are available as well.
