Friday, December 13 – Sunday, December 15:

Landstuhl Advent Market

Last winter, the Landstuhl Advent Market celebrated its premiere. This year, the Old Market in Landstuhl will once again be transformed into an atmospherically decorated Christmas village with special light illumination on the first three Advent weekends. In cooperation the with Kaiserslautern event agency Cuvée Events the city of Landstuhl hosts a Christmas market during the 1st / 2nd and 3rd Advent weekend at the city park “Alter Markt”. Visitors are invited to listen to Christmas carols and enjoy regional delicacies, beverages, mulled wine and much more. Christmas decoration is offered too. The Christmas market opens Fridays from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. / Saturdays from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Saturday, December 14 – Sunday, December 15:

Romantic Christmas Market in Johanniskreuz

Experience a different kind of Christmas market located in the center of the Palatinate Forest. The woodland scenery is the perfect setting for such an event. Especially when it gets dark, many torches and bonfires create a romantic atmosphere. About 60 booths offer culinary delicacies, Glühwein, Christmas cookies and arts and crafts near the “House of Sustainability”. Christmas trees and venison for the Christmas roast are available as well – fresh from the Palatinate Forest. The fire show is a fascinating spectacle. A brass ensemble entertains the visitors. The market opens Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Due to limited parking facilities it is recommended to take the shuttle bus (no. 170) from Kaiserslautern main train station. Ask us for the detailed bus schedule!

Wednesday, December 18:

Advent with the Ramstein Scouts and Light of Peace Campaign

The scouts of "BdP Stamm Kurpfalz Ramstein" host an Advent campaign at the Ramstein scout center including a varied program. The event takes place from Monday, December 16 through Friday, December 20 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. daily. Several stations decorated for Christmas invite you to stop and linger for a little while. Glühwein, punch and waffles will be offered inside the festive Christmas yurt. Please bring along your own mugs for the drinks! The scouts picked up the light of peace that is coming from Bethlehem at the Speyer Cathedral. The light will be distributed to all people who want to set an example of peace. Please bring along a candle or lantern to take the light of peace home with you. Wednesday, December 18 at 6 p.m. the lively Advent calendar will take place at the scout center. The lively Advent calendar is a daily evensong in Advent organized by the city of Ramstein-Miesenbach with changing locations. The public is invited to join these daily get-togethers in Advent, sing along Christmas songs and listen to Christmas stories.
