Romantic Christmas Market in the Forest in Johanniskreuz

Experience a different kind of Christmas market located in the center of the Palatinate Forest. The woodland scenery is the perfect setting for such an event. Especially when it gets dark, many torches and bonfires create a romantic atmosphere. About 60 booths offer culinary delicacies, Glühwein, Christmas cookies and arts and crafts near the “House of Sustainability”. The fire show is a fascinating spectacle. The market opens Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Due to limited parking facilities, it is recommended to take the shuttle bus (no. 170) from Kaiserslautern main train station.

Monday, December 15:

Advent with the Ramstein Scouts and Light of Peace Campaign

The scouts of "BdP Stamm Kurpfalz Ramstein" host an Advent campaign at the Ramstein scout center including a varied program. The event takes place from Monday, December 15 through Friday, December 19 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Several stations decorated for Christmas invite you to stop and linger for a little while. Glühwein, punch and waffles will be offered inside the festive Christmas yurt. Please bring along your own mugs for the drinks! The scouts picked up the light of peace that is coming from Bethlehem at the Speyer Cathedral. The light will be distributed to all people who want to set an example of peace. Please bring along candles or lanterns to take the light of peace home with you. On Monday, December 15 the lively Advent calendar will take place at the scout center at 6 p.m. The lively Advent calendar is a daily Evensong in Advent organized by the city of Ramstein-Miesenbach with changing locations. The public is invited to join these daily get-togethers in Advent, sing along Christmas songs and listen to Christmas stories.

Tuesday, December 16:

Christmas Moments Show at Congress Center Ramstein

This stage show is full of wintry magic and unforgettable moments. ”Christmas Moments” is more than just a concert with Christmas carols, Christmas classics, pop and gospel. The ensemble consisting of 11 members presents music and poetry in an extraordinary way. With terrific voices, stunning choir arrangements, thrilling music, touching but also entertaining stories and profound thoughts of the season, the soloists capture the audience's hearts. The stage show by composer and producer Thomas Schwab has amazed almost 1 million spectators in Germany by now. Familiar faces and stars such as Cassandra Steen, Ella Endlich and Patricia Kelly have been guests on stage. Again, this year the audience can look forward to a pre-Christmas spectacle in Ramstein.
