Charity Ball in at Fruchthalle Kaiserslautern
Join this charity event for an extraordinary occasion! "Give Hope to the World" is the motto of the first Charity Ball, hosted by the collaborative efforts of Inner Wheel, Lions, and Rotary Service Clubs! On February 16th, Rotary Kaiserslautern-Kurpfalz e.V. teams up with Inner Wheel Kaiserslautern, Lions Kaiserslautern, Lions-Lutra, Rotary Kaiserslautern, Rotary Rockenhausen, Rotary Sickingerland, and Rotaract Kaiserslautern to invite you to an entertaining evening at the Fruchthalle in Kaiserslautern. The Volker-Klimmer-Band will set the tone for the night. Enjoy performances by the Pfalztheater, dazzling dance displays by Tanzschule Marquardt, masterful piano artistry by internationally acclaimed pianist Sachiko Furuhata, and soulful jazz with the renowned Martin Preiser. Holger Wienpahl, SWR presenter, will be your guide through this memorable evening. All proceeds from this event will support essential social projects in the area, including the creation and expansion of children's playrooms in the women's shelters of Kaiserslautern and Kirchheimbolanden, sponsorship of summer camps for Kaiserslautern students in collaboration with Lichtblick 2000, and assistance for psychological preventive measures in elementary schools. Intercultural Breakfast at Congress Center Ramstein
The Ramstein Youth Office organizes an “Intercultural Breakfast” at Congress Center Ramstein from 10 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. Families and individuals, no matter from which country, are cordially invited to join this intercultural meeting to have breakfast together and to get to know each other. Games are offered for children. A varied stage program is provided, too. Participants are welcome to make a contribution to the breakfast by bringing a typical treat or specialty of their country. Contributions to the stage program, e.g. a traditional song or a dance performance of the country of origin, are welcome as well. Piano Concert “Aufforderung zum Tanz” at Congress Center Ramstein
The pianists Sandra Urba and Anna Anstett from Kaiserslautern invite you to a lively and varied piano concert under the motto “Aufforderung zum Tanz” (Engl. translation “Call to Dance”). The two musicians have known each other for years, but their first joint musical project was only in 2021. They had lost of fun playing together. They decided to give concerts as a piano duo. Now at their performance at the Congress Center Ramstein the two will present a colorful selection of four-handed piano dances – including the famous “Hungarian Dances” by Johannes Brahms and the sophisticated “Petite Suite” by Claude Debussy. The concert starts at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4.30 p.m. Tickets are € 12.
