Intercultural Breakfast at Congress Center Ramstein

The Ramstein Youth Office organizes an “Intercultural Breakfast” at CCR from 10 a. m. until 1 p. m. Families and individuals, no matter from which country, are cordially invited to join this intercultural meeting, in order to have breakfast together and to get to know each other. Games are offered for children. A varied stage program is provided, too. Participants are welcome to make a contribution to the breakfast by bringing a typical treat or specialty of their country. Contributions to the stage program, e. g. a traditional song or a dance performance of their country of origin, are welcome as well. Registration is required by February 10. Guided Tour of Kaiserslautern in English

Experience the history and culture of Kaiserslautern in a lively way! The tour starts with a visit of the Count Palatinate Hall of the former Casimir Castle, where official receptions of the city are held today. Afterwards the tour continues through the underground passages. These tunnels are approx. 70 meters long. The passages are equipped with illuminated boards and sound effects illustrating Kaiserslautern in ancient times. The tour starts at 11.15 a. m. and takes approx. 1.5 hours. Meeting Point for the tour is the Tourist Information (address: Fruchthallstrasse 14, 67655 Kaiserslautern). The participation fee is € 7 for adults; the reduced fee is € 6. Children´s Carnival Party in Weilerbach

The Weilerbach soccer club "FV Weilerbach 1912 e. V." hosts a carnival party for children in cooperation with the carneval association "KVK 1838 e. V. Kaiserslautern". Fun, musical entertainment and dance performances will be provided. Kids are invited to dress up in their favorite costume and join the party. Parents as well as grandparents are welcome too. The event takes place at the civic center "Bürgerhaus Weilerbach" and starts at 2 p. m. Admission fee is € 3. Admittance is at 1 p.m.
