Wine and Shopping Night in Bad Dürkheim

The Bad Dürkheim city center is bathed in a very special light for the wine and shopping night taking place from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Light cones up to ten meters high as well as fantasy figures with changing colors illuminate the streets and alleys. Spectacular fire and light shows, imaginatively dressed stilt walkers as well as African and South American rhythms make this event a very special experience for the visitors. Most downtown retailers offer the opportunity to go shopping until 10 p.m. In many stores the Bad Dürkheim vintners sell good wines at tasting prices. The newly designed town museum stays open that evening and presents Stone Age, Celts and Romans in a lively way to watch and "touch". A visit is worthwhile for young and old.
