Rockabilly Night at Congress Center Ramstein

"Krüger Rockt!" is among the hottest rock `n´ roll bands. Postmortem, Elvis can be happy about the luck of his early birth. The band performs hits of the 50s, whether schmaltzy songs, doo-wop, boogie or rockabilly. The audience can look forward to songs by Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bill Haley, Everly Brothers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Gene Vincent, Buddy Holly and many others. Don’t dress too warmly, because it’s going to be hot, very hot. Doors open at 7 p.m. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are € 25. Wine and Shopping Night in Bad Dürkheim

For the wine and shopping night, the Bad Dürkheim city center is bathed in a very special light. Cones of light as well as luminaries with changing colors adorn the streets and alleys. Spectacular fire shows, drum rhythms, and fancifully dressed stilt walkers make this event a very special experience for the visitors. Most retailers give the opportunity to go shopping until 10 p.m. In selected stores, local vintners offer wine tastings and sell their excellent wines. The town museum remains open that evening and presents historical figures. The young and the old are invited to attend the event from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Saturday, February 28 – Sunday, March 1:

Flea Market in Kottweiler-Schwanden

The community of Kottweiler-Schwanden hosts an indoor charity flea market at the multipurpose hall “Sulzbachhalle”. The flea market is held on Saturday from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. The proceeds will benefit the preservation of the local Protestant church. The booster club has set itself the goal of preserving the Protestant church of Kottweiler-Schwanden with all its special features in terms of its architecture and beautiful location. Vendors offer a large choice of second-hand goods such as clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, books, records, CDs, household items, electrical appliances, children’s toys and much more. To make the event a success, the organizers are asking for donations in kind. Donations can be dropped off at the multipurpose hall from Monday, February 23, through Thursday, February 26, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and on Friday, February 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. You are cordially invited to visit the market and to contribute to this great project – the community of Kottweiler-Schwanden is looking forward to welcoming you!
